I've been kinky all my life.

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted a loss of control, without even realizing that's what I wanted. When I entered the dating scene, I found myself provoking my boyfriends "teasingly", hoping they would pin me down, or spank me. Luckily, I found BDSM on the Internet, and I had a better grasp of what it was that I wanted.

So, unabashedly, I would tell my boyfriends "I want to be tied up, or I want to be spanked." These divulgences were met with such a negative reaction that i felt a need to be ashamed about my sexual needs.

I found guys who were willing to spank me, and as enjoyable as it was, they were only doing it because I wanted it, not because THEY wanted it, and that was a buzzkill for me.

I went back online. That's a fun place, I learned a lot. I played around with the D/s dynamic, but because of my personality and the particular archetype of submissive I am, that didn't work for me.

Frustrated and torn, I felt like I should give up on it altogether. I did, for a little while, albeit unhappily.

In a burst of random spontaneity, I googled BDSM groups in my area. It took me some time to get through the porn entries, but I found the website of a local club. The calendar showed so many groups that met there, I didn't know where to start. Something caught my eye, though, and that something was TNG.

TNG is a group called The Next Generation. Its purpose is in helping kinky people in the age range of 18-35. They meet monthly, and encourage ethical, safe, sane, consensual practice of said kinks. They provide education and experience, and NO JUDGEMENT on how much experience a person did or didn't have.

Needless to say, I wanted to be signed up! As soon as I signed up at the yahoo group, I sent out a blanket message to everyone, introducing myself. Boy did I get a response! Friendly emails and instant messages came in, offering friendship, answers, and advice. I made friends almost immediately, and haven’t looked back.

I can say with absolute certainty that I've found what I was looking for. I can't, however, express the joy I feel at NOT waiting 'till I was 40 and still feeling unsatisfied.

The people in this group are helpful, friendly, and have a genuine desire to help people like me learn what I really want.

The best thing I've noticed is there is no judgment. We're all cut from the same kinky thread. And if a person has different fetishes than another, there is no look of distaste, no "Ew, you're into WHAT?", nothing but, "okay, I know someone who is into that."

I can't speak for every city that has a TNG chapter, but the city I live in has a HUGE kinky community, and there are so many groups other than TNG that cater to specific niches in the lifestyle.

Bottom line is I am here to provide information to people like you who were like me once. Yes, I'm new, but I know a lot, and if I don't know the specific answer, I'd bet money I know someone who does.

On Friday I went to the local dungeon.
